WebCam Storks

Contest: EENet´s digital drawing competition 2013 joonistaja.eenet.ee/konkurss/
Programs: Paint Tool SAI and Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1.
Results: 2nd place in '18 & older' category

So... I picked the theme "Forest camera brings the nature home" (if to tranlate it directly...)

And immediately... I had this picture in my head of some kind of birds flying out of a laptop...

I remember, I was so impressed when I first saw, that there are webcams placed near some birds nests (like storks, eagles, owls) and you can "spy" on them just sittin' home behind your laptop. It's like... You can... almost... touch them...
Especally love the owls, they always look soo cute~ But they are sleeping almost always when I care to check these webcams. :I


Buh, and the reason this pic looks so... "Funky", is because my tablet broke when I was half finished. Uhuh. Yep.
I SPENT FOREVERRRR ON THOSE STORKS! D:> And then... One fine day, I dropped my tablet pen and... I got it working somehow, but it's not picking up ANY pressure. T^T
But since I really liked the composition, then tried to "finish" it by playing with photoshop filters and half drew it with my mouse. ._.
Buu...T^T

Welp, hope you get the idea. c:


Also, used some lovely DA stork stock references from Drezdany-stocks and syccas-stock.
